How to Use Remindly
Welcome to Remindly! This guide will help you understand the main features of our application and show you how to get started.
Reminders
Reminders help seniors stay on track with their daily routines and important activities. Caregivers can set up recurring reminders for medications, meals, appointments, and other essential tasks. Each reminder can be customized with:
- Custom schedules: Daily, weekly, or custom frequencies
- Specific times: Set exact times for each reminder
- Categories: Organize by medication, meal, appointment, or routine
- Voice announcements: Seniors receive spoken reminders on their devices
- Acknowledgment tracking: Care receivers can acknowledge reminders or snooze them, and caregivers can see which reminders were completed
Tasks
Tasks enable caregivers to coordinate care activities and manage one-time or scheduled responsibilities. Unlike reminders that repeat regularly, tasks are specific activities that need to be completed. Features include:
- Task assignment: Assign tasks to specific caregivers or leave them unassigned
- Scheduling: Set due dates and times for tasks
- Priority levels: Mark tasks as low, medium, or high priority
- Comments: Caregivers can add notes and updates on task progress
- Visibility control: Choose whether seniors can see specific tasks
- Status tracking: Monitor pending, in-progress, and completed tasks
